This was the other card that I made for the "Black and White Challenge" proposed by Donna Henley. I mentioned about it a few posts ago.
I like the way it turned out. I just used Stampin' Up! Classic ink in Basic Black and card stock in Basic Black and Whisper White.
Have a great weekend and see you next week! =^.^=-
Life has been busy lately that's why I haven't been posted lately. I expect that it may be like that for the next week or so :( But I promise that I will do my best to post as much as I can.
My new catalogue order is coming and with it several wonderful new products and the in colours are just yummy!
Wishing you all a great week and I will see you soon! :o)
Card: Card stock So Saffron and Tangerine Tango; stamp set: Flower Silhouette.
Remember a few days ago when I told you about a challenge that Donna Henley had given our team? The black and white challenge? Well, this one was created by my fellow demonstrator Julie Leblanc. Julie has been stamping up a storm lately and her creations are gorgeous.
Julie made this card for the challenge and to swap. As I was studying for my exam, I did not have time to make any cards to swap. Julie was kind to give me and other demos who weren't swapping either, one of her beautiful creations. "Echoes of Kindness" - no wonder she used this stamp set for this card! ;-) Isn't it gorgeous?
Card stock: Basic Black, Whisper White, and Basic Gray. Eyelet border punch, taffeta ribbon (white), and flower and pearl from the Pretties kit.
Great job Jules!
Have a great weekend everyone! :o)
What a lovely card! I got this in one of the swaps I participated, but the creator did not sign her work of art... tsc, tsc. tsc...
She used Stampin' Up! Blooming with Love stamp set and the wheel Blooms and Bulbs. It is such a springy card. I love the colours and how different this card looks!
Card stock: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, and Whisper White. The images were coloured with blender pens and classic ink.
Beautiful job! :-)
This is another card that I made for my GNO class. I love this stamp set and haven't used as much as I want to. So I decided to use it for another masculine card.
I stamped the tree and the deer with Versamark, used black embossing powder, and heated embossed it. Then, I sponged around the dear to give an impression of sunrising. Other Stampin' Up! materials that I used: card stock in Really Rust, Basic Black, Summer Sun, and Very Vanilla; Sanded background (stamped with Really Rusty.
Many Cheers!!!
This was another card that I created for my last GNO class - again, with the "masculine" look in mind.
I was fearing that Stampin' Up! would retire this set, and I am happy that they did not! i just love this one and wouldn't know what to do without it! ;-)
I used Lovely as a Tree set to teach a technique that I was suggested by "my girls" (i.e., the ladies who come to my classes).
We used three shades of green markers:Centainly Celery, Garden Green, and Always Artichoke. We used them to colour direct onto the stamp. Starting with the lightest colour and progressing to the darkest, we randomly coloured the tree. Then, we used the Close to Cocoa marker for the trunk and ground. After giving it "the breath of life" (i.e., a huff to re-moisturize the ink), we stamped the tree.
Card stock: Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa, and Whisper White. Designer Series Paper" Manchester (retiring).
Hope you enjoy! ;-)
Good Monday!!!!!!!! After a busy, but great weekend, I am back to work! This is my part time job and keeping up with it and my other passion (psychology) is not easy. Sometimes I wish I had more than 24 hours in a day, but who doesn't?!?!?!? Anyway, let's talk about this card...
If I had to buy only one stamp set from this catalogue it would have to be this one: Music Expressions. I am not sure why exactly, but this set speaks to my heart. I love all about it!
I made this card for a challenge that my upper line, Donna Henley, gave to our team: black and white. That was it: we could only use black and white. Although I am not the one to jump into making cards with only these two colours, I liked the way it turned out. I stamped with Basic Black classic ink and using blender pens and water colour crayons, I coloured parts of the image. I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to add a bit o 'jazz' to the card.
Wishing a great weekend! :o)
Another masculine card to inspire you to make your own Father's Day card.
Previously, I posted another card with the same colour schema and horse (Wanted stamp set). On this card, I used several different Stampin' Up! stamp sets: Wanted, Nature Silhouettes, Best Wishes and More, and Branch Out. Can you see which one is used where???
Wanted: Horse; Nature Silhouettes: grass, vegetation and tree; Branch Out: the leaves on the tree; Best Wishes and More: the saying.
The horse and saying were stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and the rest of the images was stamped on Close to Cocoa.
Happy Father's Day weekend! Remember to give your old man a big bear hug!
